For nearly seventy years, our priority has been to grant an extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality with a perfectly balanced flavor. The foundation of the whole productive process is represented by the direct and indirect collaboration with the many olive oil mills of Tuscany and central Italy, chosen throughout the years for the quality of their olives and their ethics. Such an accurate process of selection permits the production of olive oils with a diversity of balance between fruity, bitter and spicy with which we manage to humor the tastes of the single markets and clients, offering a catalogue rich in brands, each distinguished by its own peculiarities. Among these stands out the San Savino brand, born in 1986, which nowadays represents one of our leading brands.
A constant attention to all innovations happening in the field, allowed us to remain a cutting-edge company despite the passing of the years. We did this by equipping our plant with the most modern technologies and machines, capable of maintaining the quality of the original production throughout time.
Among these innovations are tanks fitted with a nitrogen generator which, twenty-four hours a day, prevents the oil from coming into contact with oxygen and thus losing its optimal characteristics. In fact, the insertion of nitrogen slows down the aging process and ensures better conservation, allowing us to always sell impeccable oil.
Finally, the recent expansion of the plant also enhanced the bottling process which can now count on two lines dedicated to glass bottles of various dimensions and on one packaging line for glass and tinplated band containers, all this, in addition to other machinery for work on small quantities of product.
This additional passage has reinforced the constant modernization process which, along with the know-how accrued in decades of experience, allows Oleificio Toscano Morettini to guarantee the excellence of the entire productive process, from the picking of olives, to sales.
